Examination Features:

We now offer comprehensive 6-monthly Thorough Examinations of lifting accessories in compliance with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations). This includes inspection and certification of chain slings, web slings, shackles, eyebolts, chain blocks, lifting jacks, and more — ensuring your equipment remains safe, legal, and fully operational.

Our service covers a wide range of equipment, including:

Chain Slings
Inspected for wear, elongation, corrosion, damaged links, and correct identification markings. We ensure chains are free from cracks, twists, and meet safety standards.

Webbing Slings
Checked for cuts, fraying, broken stitching, chemical damage, UV degradation, and general wear. All tags and labels are verified for legibility and compliance.

Shackles
Inspected for bent pins, worn threads, corrosion, and distortion. Pin security and correct load ratings are verified.

Eyebolts
Assessed for thread integrity, deformation, cracks, and signs of misuse or overload. Markings and seating are thoroughly checked.

Chain Blocks
Checked for smooth operation, chain condition, brake mechanism function, and correct operation of hooks and safety latches. Load chains are examined for stretching or twisting.

Lifting Jacks
Inspected for leaks, smooth operation, structural integrity, and correct labeling. Mechanical and hydraulic function is verified under test conditions if required.

All inspections are documented and a LOLER certificate is issued upon satisfactory examination. Non-compliant items are clearly identified and advice provided for repair or replacement.
